Invites templates

In the Invites templates tab, you can create multi language email invite templates for your campaigns and automatically send those, based on the customer's language settings.

How do I create a new invite template?

  1. In the menu, go to Settings and click on Invites templates.
  2. Here you will find an overview of your available templates. In the top-right of the module, click the New template button.
  3. A pop-up appears to enter the first details of the template.
    • Template name for your own overview.
    • Language for the template. The selected language will be configured for this template only if a translation is added for the connected survey.
    • Email subject: the text the recipients will see in their inbox for the subject line.
    • Sender name: the name recipients will see in their inbox.
    • Sender email address: select the accompanying mail address.
    • Fallback metadata: if using metadata in your template, you can enter fallback data here that will be used if metadata is missing for a recipient.
    • Preheader: this is the snippet info recipients will see below in their inbox, below the subject line.
  4. Click on Save when ready with the info above.
  5. You will now see the template editor. Click on Save & exit to finish setting up the new template.

How do I edit the invite template layout and style?

  1. If you have created a new template following the steps above, you can hover over the template you want to edit and click the Edit template button.
  2. In the editor, you can edit the Template details by clicking the Edit icon in the top-right of the details overview.
  3. In the Template editor, you can change the layout and style of the template to your brand style.
    • You can edit/replace images and text by double-clicking on the blocks in the editor, and change them to your needs.
    • You may also want to move certain blocks. You can do this by clicking on a block once. A blue border appears and in the top-right of the block, you will see moving and cloning options for that block. This also applies for Sections, which are a group of certain accompanying blocks.
    • On the right side of the editor, you can also drag in new pre-made blocks building blocks, to use for editing the template to your brand style.
  4. Once you're done editing the template, click on the Save & exit button to save the template. If you want to test your email template to see how it will look in the inbox of the recipient, you can click the Send example button. The email will directly be sent to the email linked to your user account in Spotler FeedbackPro.
