How do I set up automated response handling?

You can set up automated response handling by creating a rule in the Inbox module, that automatically approved, rejects or archives responses based on defined conditions.

Automated Response Handling helps you save time by automatically managing responses. Instead of manually archiving, validating, or rejecting responses, you can create rules that handle this for you. These rules are customizable per survey and can be applied to multiple surveys. You can define conditions that determine when a rule should be triggered and what action should be taken.

Publishing conditions

For reviews to be published, the following conditions must be met:

  • An active connection between your platform and Spotler FeedbackPro.
  • An active response rule configured to enable automatic publishing.

Time-saving tip

Save time by auto-approving low-risk responses using conditions such as:

  • Positive score (≥ 6)
  • No testimonial included

How do I set up automated response handling?

  1. Go to Inbox in the menu.
  2. Click the Automated response handling button in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Create new response handling rule.
  4. Fill in the rule details:
    • Name: Enter a name for your rule.
    • Survey: Select the survey.
    • If: Define when the rule should be triggered.
    • Then: Define what action should be taken.
  5. Review the rule and click Next to activate it.

Note

The rule only applies to responses received after the rule is created. Existing responses must be handled manually.

Rules only apply within the selected environment and cannot be used across multiple environments.
