Release - July 2026

In July 2026, Spotler FeedbackPro introduced scheduled Excel exports, personal filters, configurable Inbox score displays, SMS reminders, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and improvements to surveys, invites, and reporting.

On this page, the following topics are covered:

What's new in July 2026?

Release item What changed Why it matters
Scheduled Excel exports

Excel exports can be scheduled with filters for surveys, scores, date ranges, metadata, and question-answer combinations.

Assign the Manage scheduled exports role to users who need to manage scheduled exports. Existing Key and Regular users with Inbox and export permissions receive this role automatically.

Recurring exports no longer need to be downloaded manually.
Personal filters Quickfilters were previously shared at the environment level. You can now create, store, and delete your own personal filters, which are not shared with others in the environment. Shared environment-level filters became unmanageable in environments with a large number of users, as different users found different filters relevant. Personal filters ensure everyone sees only what's relevant to them.
Configurable NPS and eNPS display The Inbox can display 1-10, NPS, or eNPS scores with global settings and survey-level overrides. The Inbox now reflects the KPI that is relevant for the survey.
Collapsible Inbox categories Inbox categories can be collapsed, and the default view is now set to all responses. More space is available for filters, and users need to switch views less often.
SMS reminders Automated and one-off manual reminders are available for SMS invitations. Non-responders can now also be sent a reminder via SMS, just like via the Email and WhatsApp invite channels.
Unsubscribe confirmation Unsubscribing from an invitation email now requires confirmation on a separate landing page. Automated email security scanners can no longer unsubscribe users unintentionally.
OAuth 2.0 for API requests

API requests can be authenticated through OAuth 2.0 client credentials.

Contact the helpdesk to request OAuth 2.0 authentication for API requests. After activation, permissions for the OAuth user can be managed through the existing user management interface.

Automated integrations can use a more secure alternative to permanent API tokens.
Inherited metadata in Narrowcasting Child environments can select metadata inherited from a parent environment for Narrowcasting. It was previously not possible to use inherited metadata in a narrowcast
Complete survey data replication Copied surveys now include styling, logic, rules, advanced settings, whitelabel domains, and translations. Copied surveys require less manual reconfiguration.
Removal of the fallback survey logo The default FeedbackPro logo is no longer shown when no customer logo is assigned. Surveys no longer display unwanted default branding.
Dynamic survey header contrast The close button and language selector automatically switch between black and white based on the header background. Respondents could previously not see the closing button or language switcher if the survey had a white header.
Clear file upload validation When sending an invite, unreadable, invalid, or incomplete files now show a specific error message in the manual invite flow. Users can immediately see why a file cannot be processed.
Updated reporting functionality The reporting engine was updated to version 1.61.3 with features such as multi-series chart panels, data source swapping, and a metrics explorer. Reports provide more options for data visualization and analysis.
Survey indicators with existing response data Indicators can be set or unset when a survey already contains responses. Updating or removing the indicator could not be saved.
Report recipients after user removal A fix was implemented to scheduled report recipients visibility in a report. Without this fix, the recipient list of a scheduled report became invisible if one of the recipients was removed as a user.
Main driver and subdriver routing A fix was implemented in the driver question type logic to resolve an issue where subdrivers could be shown in the wrong order if one was added at a later stage of survey creation. Respondents see the correct follow-up options after survey changes.

Highlighted releases

Scheduled Excel exports with advanced filtering

What changed?

Spotler FeedbackPro can now run Excel exports automatically at configured intervals. Exports can be limited to selected surveys, scores, and date ranges. Filters for metadata and question-answer combinations are also available.

Who is this relevant for?

This feature is relevant for users who regularly export the same Inbox data for analysis, reporting, or further processing.

Why it matters

Recurring exports no longer need to be started manually. The available filters ensure that each export contains only the required data.

Action

Action required: assign the Manage scheduled exports role to users who need to configure and manage scheduled exports.

Personal filters for individual users

What changed?

Quickfilters were previously shared at the environment level. You can now create, store, and delete your own personal filters, which are not shared with others in the environment.

Who is this relevant for?

This feature is relevant for users who work with different data selections in the Inbox, Experience, Dashboard, Open feedback, Text analysis, or Reporting.

Why it matters

Shared environment-level filters became unmanageable in environments with a large number of users, as different users found different filters relevant. Personal filters ensure everyone sees only what's relevant to them.

Configurable NPS and eNPS scores in the Inbox

What changed?

The Inbox can now display 1-10, NPS, or eNPS scores. Administrators can define a global score display and override it for individual surveys. The score range, color thresholds, bottom line, and response colors can also be configured.

Who is this relevant for?

This feature is relevant for users who track NPS or eNPS as a primary KPI and want Inbox scores to match the metric used by each survey.

Why it matters

Users can review survey-specific metrics directly in the Inbox instead of relying on a fixed average score that may not match the survey configuration.
