What's new in September 2026?
🆕 Sub survey question type
The new Sub survey question type lets you embed an existing survey in another survey and repeat it for every item you pass along with the invite. This is useful if you collect feedback on multiple sessions, products, agents or accommodations in one survey.
Add a Sub survey page to your survey, choose the survey under Survey to embed, and select a metadata field under Repeat for every. The embedded survey is then shown once for each item in that field, for example once per session a respondent attended. Every repeat is saved as a separate response to the embedded survey and appears in that survey's report, including the metadata of the item.
A list of items can only be sent through the API, not through an Excel upload or a static survey URL. If no value is passed, the sub survey is skipped. If one value is passed, it is shown once. Only surveys with the same survey type (Swift) can be embedded, and a sub survey cannot contain another sub survey. All responses are saved when the respondent completes the main survey.

🆕 A/B testing with chance-based survey logic
Survey logic now lets you divide respondents over different questions by percentage, so you can run A/B tests on question wording. This is useful if you want to compare alternative questions or reduce survey fatigue.
Use the new divided over operator in the logic builder to select multiple questions and give each one a percentage share. Each respondent sees exactly one of these questions, and the percentages are balanced automatically to a total of 100%. A respondent keeps the same question when navigating back and forth in the survey.
Questions in a chance rule must be hidden by default. When you save the rule, FeedbackPro warns you if they aren't and offers to hide them for you.

🆕 Email reminder templates per survey style
You can now link a different email reminder template to each survey style, so reminders match the branding of the original invite. This is useful if you send the same survey on behalf of multiple brands.
Choose between one reminder template for all survey styles, or a specific template per survey style. The reminder always uses the same survey style as the original invite. This option is only shown if your environment has survey styles set up. WhatsApp and SMS reminders keep using one template per channel.
If you link templates per survey style, make sure every style you use has a template. Without a linked template, no reminder is sent and its status is set to failed.

Survey URLs in the Invite overview
Survey URLs generated through the API now appear as invites in the Invite overview, under Own Channel. This affects you if you generate survey URLs through the API and share them through your own channels.
Clicks and completions for these survey URLs are now included in your invite metrics, so you can see all invites in one place. The URL validity period and one-time completion rules now also apply to these survey URLs. Deduplication, reminders and sending delays don't apply to this channel.
Recommended action
Check your URL validity period and one-time completion settings. Survey URLs generated through the API now follow these rules, so a URL can expire or close after one completion.
